About Howard Stableford
Howard is on the adjunct faculty of the internationally renowned Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs where he coaches senior corporate managers and senior military personnel on communication skills and Executive Presence.
Through his broadcast career with the BBC, Howard is an international award-winning journalist, known to millions of people in the UK for his work on the BBC’s flagship science and technology program Tomorrow’s World which he hosted for many years. His most recent TV series was a hard-hitting consumer magazine show called The UK’s Worst. In the USA he spent time as a correspondent for the Denver NBC affiliate KUSA 9News.
Howard was President of the UK’s Institute of Patentees and Inventors until recently and worked with HRH The Prince of Wales for twelve years on his National Awards Program for Innovation.
Howard is in great demand as a conference facilitator for many multinational companies. His journalistic authority and speaker coaching experience has led to repeat business from many leading companies including Motorola, IBM, Janssen-Cilag and Lloyds TSB. Recently he worked with the senior management of a large multinational corporation on the preparation of presentations for their financial analysts meeting.
About Michael Gardner
For the past 11 years Michael has been a member of the adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership where he has done research on senior level executive challenges as part of CCL’s flagship Leadership at the Peak (LAP) program. His research is used during the executive’s media portion of the program called Executive Presence. He also works directly with LAP participants, interviewing them on-camera for Profiles in Leadership, a simulated live-TV interview program.
Michael is a former magazine publisher and for 27 years was CEO of Sunrise Publishing, Inc. He is vice president of Blue Clover Press Inc. a publisher of international award-winning outdoor adventure guide books.
Michael’s writings have appeared and been included in a number of publications including guide books, the New York Times, Sierra magazine, Rocky Mountain Magazine, Colorado Magazine, Aspen Magazine and many others.
